DMCA POLICY

InstagramVideoDownloaderApp.online respects copyright. This page explains how a copyright owner can send us a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and how we respond.

How Our Service Works

Our tool does not host videos. It does not upload, store or archive Instagram content. When a visitor pastes the link of a public video, the tool looks up the file that Instagram offers for that link and passes the download to the visitor.

This matters for takedowns. The original video stays on Instagram. The most effective way to remove a video is to report it to Instagram through its own copyright reporting tools. If Instagram removes the video, our tool can no longer retrieve it. You may also send us a notice, and we will act on it as described below.

How to Send a DMCA Notice

Your notice must be in writing and must include all of the following:

  1. A description of the copyrighted work you say was infringed. Include a title, a link or a registration number if you have one.
  2. The exact Instagram link or links that point to the material you want us to block.
  3. Your full name, mailing address, phone number and email address.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act for the owner. You must make this statement under penalty of perjury.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We may not be able to act on a notice that leaves out any of these items.

What Happens After We Receive a Notice

We review each complete notice promptly. If the notice is valid, we may block the listed Instagram links or the related account from being processed by our tool. We may also contact you if we need more details. We may share the notice with the person affected so that they can respond.

Counter-Notification

If we blocked a link and you believe we did so by mistake, you can send us a counter-notification. It must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. The link that we blocked.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith that the link was blocked by mistake or because it was wrongly identified.
  4. Your name, address and phone number.
  5. A statement that you agree to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address, or, if you are outside the United States, of any court where we can be found, and that you will accept legal notices from the person who sent the original notice.

When we receive a valid counter-notification, we may send it to the person who filed the first notice. As the DMCA allows, we may restore access after 10 to 14 business days unless that person tells us they have started a court action.

Repeat Infringers

We may block users who we reasonably believe repeatedly use our service to infringe copyright. We may do this without warning.

False Claims

Please send a notice only if you are sure about your rights. Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, a person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was blocked by mistake, may be responsible for damages. This can include court costs and attorneys’ fees.

Not Legal Advice

This page gives general information and is not legal advice. If you are unsure about your rights, please speak with a qualified lawyer. We may update this policy from time to time, and the date at the top shows the latest version.
